Join us for a fantastic evening of the songs from the sixties and seventies that made us happy, made us romantic – but mainly made us dance! All played from their original vinyl, clicks, scratches and all. Our host for the evening is John, one of the our own technicians, who worked as a DJ in Manchester in the 70s, during the high times of soul music, playing funk, disco, and of course Northern Soul. But his collection of 45s and LPs also includes the great rock music of the time, including the Stones, Rod Stewart, Free and The Beatles, so it will be a varied, high tempo and fun evening – for all age groups!
So, get out your flares, put on your tank tops and platform shoes, and come along to Cranleigh Arts for a party that will definitely kick start the Christmas season.
