We are pleased to invite the local community to the second annual exhibition of work by the Hurtwood House Art Masterclass. At Hurtwood, we attempt to foster independent thinking to drive the practice of our young artists. We try to challenge our students to carefully refine their skills whilst fostering a mindset of creative excellence. Our key aim is to enact the school’s commitment to stretching and challenging the most able students. Focusing on traditional techniques participants in the Masterclass have explored in-depth approaches to creating still-life, portraiture and landscape compositions.
This exhibition is your chance to both view and celebrate their achievements.
