about this event
As Chopin once said, “Nothing is more beautiful than a guitar, save for perhaps two”. Our classical guitar duo concert will move between the sensitive sweet tones of the guitar and the energising more popular styles. We’ll perform the beautiful, well-loved Berceuse of Faure’s Dolly Suite alongside less well-known composers such as the American, Andrew York or Canadian, Dale Kavanagh and we’ll nestle an effervescent Overture by Rossini in the same programme as famous tunes from the Beatles. Something for everyone!
Programme to include works by: Rossini, Andrew York, Fauré, Lennon McCartney, Dale Kavanagh.
