Emmanuel Bach, Violin
Winner of the Royal Over-Seas League Strings Competition, violinist Emmanuel Bach has performed at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, De Montfort Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St James Piccadilly and at festivals in the UK, Europe and South Africa. He has performed as a co-soloist with Anne-Sophie Mutter, been heard on BBC Radio 3 and is a former Countess of Munster Trust Recital Artist. Maxim Vengerov described his playing of the Brahms Concerto as ‘a superb rendition...a very deep and emotional performance.’Emmanuel has recorded four CDs, including ‘Nordic Tales’ in 2024, with Jenny Stern.
Jenny Stern, Piano
South-African-born pianist Jenny Stern has recorded for radio and television in Europe and her home country. She studied at the Royal College of Music then completed a Masters in South Africa, winning the prestigious Emma Smith Overseas Scholarship for further study. She has performed extensively in the UK and abroad, collaborating with distinguished musicians. In South Africa, major performances include concerti with all the major South African orchestras, including acclaimed broadcasts of Rachmaninoff and Grieg. She has given over 500 concerts and workshops at universities and schools. She teaches at Eton College and the Royal College of Music, Junior Department.
