On arrival, you will be given your calligraphy kit, including dip pen holder, nib, ink and worksheets, to use throughout the session and a 25-min video by me to watch at home, which covers everything I teach you in the session! (This is all yours to keep!).
There will be plenty of one-to-one tuition throughout, so you will have enough time & attention to develop your own style.
You will learn the basic strokes, practise writing the lowercase alphabet, learn how to join the letters up to make words and how to add in simple flourishes to elevate your writing. I will also show you techniques which will help you to find your own style. We will finish the workshop with a handwritten greetings card.
