Working in a variety of media, Karen creates unique images in an expressive and vibrant style that is infused with her passion for colour, texture, pattern and rhythm. Her paintings are mainly acrylics and inks, overdrawn with wax pastels – and she also enjoys experimenting with freehand machine-embroidery and textile art.
Kathy Plank works largely in oil on canvas she works to capture the ever-changing beauty of the natural world with the energy & spirit of expression. She is also incorporated her love of literature and stories into her new works – to capture a sense of the magical world of fairytale and storytelling.
