We are pleased to invite the local community to an exhibition of work by the Hurtwood House Art Masterclass. At Hurtwood, we attempt to foster independent thinking to drive the practice of our young artists. We want to challenge our students to carefully refine their skills whilst fostering a mindset of creative excellence. Our key aim is to enact the school’s commitment to stretching and challenging the most able students. Focusing on traditional techniques participants in the Masterclass have explored still-life, portraiture and landscape to a high level. This exhibition is your chance to both view and celebrate their achievements.
