about this event
Join legendary guitarist, songwriter and producer Jim Cregan for an intimate evening of stories, songs and musical memories, alongside a remarkable line-up of old friends and fellow musicians.
Drawing on a career spanning more than six decades, Jim revisits music from his extraordinary journey through the world of music — from Murray Head, Blossom Toes, Family and Cockney Rebel, through Cat Stevens and Rod Stewart, alongside original songs and the stories behind them.
Joining Jim are some exceptional musicians: Sam Tanner on piano, Pat Davey on bass, Stuart Elliott on drums and Marion Fleetwood on cello, violin and vocals. Between them, their credits span some of the biggest names in rock, pop and folk.
Expect great music, fascinating stories, plenty of laughter and the unique chemistry that comes from a group of old friends making music together.
As Jim puts it: “We laugh, tell stories and conjure up a certain magic that only comes with age, respect and friendship.”
Come and join us for a very special evening with The New Acoustic Band.
