Former Classic FM presenter, journalist and newscaster John Suchet is a lifelong fan of Beethoven as well as an expert on the composer’s life. A very personal quest – part travelogue, part memoir – this is the story of how Beethoven’s music has accompanied Suchet throughout his own life, taking him on a journey that led him from being an adventure-loving teenager to becoming an intrepid journalist entering the arena of a civil war-torn Beirut and beyond.
