Showdown Theatre Arts, UK and The Baltimore School for the Arts, USA will be performing a collaborative production of Listen To My Heart, an exciting musical revue that covers the beautiful score of composer, writer, conductor and record producer David Friedman, whose songs have been recorded by Diana Ross, Barry Manilow, Petula Clark and Nancy LaMott. David has also written many favourites found in the Disney musical catalogue. This piece is packed with songs of inspiration, love and hope, brought to new life with a talented cast of upcoming performers.
The BSA/STA exchange programme is a decade long, annual collaboration of young artists and creatives from either side of the pond who come together to produce outstanding work with just one week together in the USA and again in the UK. Previous productions have been on The Brighton Fringe as well as London’s West End and alumni of this programme are performing around the world on huge stages and also your TV screens. Listen to My Heart marks the first reunion since the pandemic, after a three-year hiatus and we are thrilled to bring this show and its talented performers to Cranleigh Arts.
