Horsham Borough Band were formed in 1900 and have a proud tradition of musical accomplishment .They are currently the top rated brass band in Sussex and regularly contest against other bands from London and the South East region .
Since the millennium they have achieved 9 first ,12 second and 5 third places and have represented the south east at the National finals on 5 occasions .
Players travel in from all parts of Sussex .From as far afield as Chichester and Eastbourne drawn by the bands commitment to musical excellence .
The band regularly give public performances at concerts and Bandstands in our area .Having relocated to the Bandroom in Cranleigh while their Horsham base is refurbished they thought it would be a great opportunity to perform in Cranleigh Village .
Here they present a selection of pieces drawn from the past 70 years of Queen Elizabeth 2nd s reign . Expect music from all the decades whether it be the 50s era of great musicals ,the 60s and the Beatles, or the era of Andrew Lloyd Webber and of course the grand march Crown Imperial .
